Humidor Box Design

 

Here are a couple drawings of one the boxes I am working on right now.  This one will be a humidor that is 13" wide by 10" deep and 3 1/2" tall.  The box is being made of African mahogany and the string will be made from 1/8' Curly Maple.  The two will off set very nicely especially as it ages.  The mahogany will continue to darken while the maple stays a light cream color.
