I read an article in fine woodworking talking about easy it is to set these up. After many many many many many test cuts... here is a box joint of mine. I think they are worth it though because they look great and they are super strong. It is also easier to glue up these types of joints as they 'lock' together and do not slip away like a typical 45 joint would.
