Tool trough

Added a tool trough to my bench today.   It adds about 6 inches on my bench and is only as deep as my top is thick.  I used pocket screws to put it together and attaching it to the bench.  I am surprised at how strong it seems to be.   It should be able to withstand any weight I put in it.

I have seen these on all the European style benches on my favorite wood working shows I watch.   It makes a ton of room for tools and keeps them in handy reach.
