Hiding the electric

I routed to half-inch dado in the one side of the lamp to run the wiring. Then I covered it with a piece of wood so you won't see it. Thought it was a pretty smart way to hide the wiring. Once it sanded smooth and finished I think a person would be hard-pressed to find it.
